Terms of Use

Effective August 7, 2026. Questions: hello@true.industries.

Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of www.true.industries, related subdomains we operate for the marketing site and lab demos (including schedule.true.industries when linked from this site), and public APIs and discovery documents we publish (together, the "Site").

By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

Services vs the Site

The Site describes True Industries services, offers, case files, and experiments. Paid work, audits beyond free diagnostic offers, and custom software engagements are governed by a separate statement of work, proposal, or master agreement. These Terms cover Site use only, not delivery of client projects unless that agreement says otherwise.

Intellectual property

The Site and all content we make available through it, including text, design, branding, graphics, video, audio, UI, documentation, and software, are owned by True Industries, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

This includes lab and experiment materials: shader demos, interactive prototypes, game and engine demos, Morse and other experiment UIs, source visible in the browser, WebGL/GLSL assets, bundled JavaScript, WASM builds, and any downloadable or streamable experiment artifacts under /experiments or related paths.

Experiments and lab code: limited license

We publish experiments to demonstrate capability and explore ideas. Viewing an experiment in a browser does not transfer ownership or grant a development license.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal evaluation and to learn about our services. That license does not include the right to copy, scrape, mirror, fork, reverse engineer (except to the limited extent allowed by law), redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit experiment code, assets, or derived works.

  • Do not copy experiment source, shaders, WASM, or media into your own products or repos.
  • Do not run automated scrapers, bulk downloaders, or agent crawlers whose purpose is to harvest Site code or assets for reuse.
  • Do not remove proprietary notices or pass off Site materials as your own.
  • Do not use Site content to train machine-learning models for the purpose of reproducing our experiments, brand, or proprietary systems, unless a separate written license says otherwise.
  • Public agent discovery files (llms.txt, OpenAPI, auth.md) may be read to contact us or understand public offers. They are not a license to copy experiment implementations.

Permission for reuse

If you want to license an experiment, remix a demo, or reuse any Site material beyond ordinary browser viewing and fair use / fair dealing as applicable, email hello@true.industries with what you want and why. We may grant, deny, or condition permission in writing. No oral waiver.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to:

  • Violate law or third-party rights.
  • Probe, scan, or stress the Site or APIs beyond ordinary use without permission.
  • Bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Submit malware, spam, or deceptive intake content.
  • Impersonate True Industries or misrepresent an affiliation.
  • Interfere with other users' access to experiments or services.

Accounts and lab features

Some experiments require sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your credentials. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, or Terms violations.

Submissions

If you send ideas, feedback, or intake materials through the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use them to respond and to operate our business. Do not send confidential information unless we have a separate NDA. Project confidentiality, if any, will be in a signed agreement.

Third-party services

The Site may link to scheduling (for example TidyCal), payment, auth, or social platforms. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party sites.

Disclaimer

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Experiments may break, change, or be removed without notice. Marketing descriptions of past work are illustrative and not guarantees of future results.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUE INDUSTRIES AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM SITE USE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR SITE USE CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US SPECIFICALLY FOR SITE ACCESS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify True Industries against claims arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your unauthorized use of Site content or experiments.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate Site access at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, experiments license limits, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes arising from Site use lies in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
