Overview

A client in a regulated, document-heavy industry engaged us to automate how their highest-stakes paperwork gets completed and reviewed. The system pairs a deterministic document engine with an agentic intelligence layer and keeps a human in the approval loop. The client is in stealth; the full case study lands when they launch. Until then, the dossier is available on request.

The problem

Regulated industries run on documents where a wrong field is not a typo, it is a liability. Every document was assembled by hand from data scattered across CRMs, task systems, and prior paperwork: slow, expensive, and dependent on the few people who know every form. Pure LLM approaches fail here for the same reason they impress elsewhere: they improvise. Compliance paperwork cannot improvise. The system has to be deterministic where correctness matters and intelligent where judgment helps, with a human owning the final call.

How we solved it

We built the deterministic core first: coordinate-mapped document templates, normalized data schemas, and validation rules, so the same inputs produce the same document, every time, auditable end to end. On top of that sits the intelligence layer: agentic autocompletion that pulls from the client's systems of record, proposes field values, and flags gaps it cannot resolve. Nothing ships on a model's word alone: reviewers work from a live document preview and accept or reject each item, and validation runs before anything is final. The system is multi-tenant and integrates directly with the client's CRM and task platforms, so document work happens where their operation already lives.
