DEBRIEF
Overview
BREAK ZONE is a True Industries original: a growing collection of quick, replayable browser games, from neon runners and falling-block puzzles to idle incrementals and reaction tests. Every title lives on one platform with shared player identity, score chasing, and daily streaks, and the catalog keeps growing because adding the next game is cheap by design.
The problem
Small games die alone. Ship a one-off browser game and you rebuild the same scaffolding every time: accounts, score storage, streaks, deploys, and there is no catalog pulling players from one title to the next, no shared identity making a streak worth keeping. The interesting product is not any single game. It is the platform underneath: the thing that makes game number sixteen as cheap to ship as game number two, and gives every new release a built-in audience.
How we solved it
We built BREAK ZONE as a platform first. A Next.js application on Vercel carries the whole catalog, with Supabase powering player profiles, scores, and daily streaks shared across every game. Each title plugs into that spine: same identity, same score systems, same neon design language, so new games ship as content, not as projects. The catalog launched and kept growing past sixteen playable titles spanning runners, merge puzzles, rhythm and reaction games, word puzzles, and idle incrementals. Browser-native and instant: no install, no launcher, drop in and play.
Our role
