Axis Football 2026
Years of co-development: American football simulation with franchise mode, play editor, and multiplatform launch on Steam.
See it in motion.
Overview.
True Industries partnered with Axis Games over multiple years to co-develop Axis Football 2026, a full-featured American football simulation. We delivered franchise mode, a play editor, and supported a multiplatform launch including Steam. Our team worked alongside Axis on architecture, gameplay systems, and performance so the title could ship on schedule.
Axis Games ships a full sports simulation on an annual cadence: a release window that does not move, against titles with hundred-person teams. Each cycle demanded deep new systems (franchise management, a play editor, AI improvements) on top of maintaining a large existing codebase, with a core team too small to build it all in-house. The risk every year was the same: cut features, slip the date, or ship something unstable on multiple platforms at once.
We embedded as a long-term co-development team rather than a one-off contractor. Working inside Axis's codebase and pipeline, we took ownership of major feature verticals: franchise mode systems, the play editor, and gameplay logic, while contributing to architecture and performance work across the title. Because the engagement spanned multiple release cycles, we carried context forward year over year: no re-onboarding, no rediscovery. Features were planned against the immovable launch window, built behind stable interfaces, and hardened for a multiplatform release including Steam.

The full dossier goes deeper: architecture decisions, timelines, what broke and how we fixed it, and the numbers we don't publish. We share it with teams evaluating us for serious work, usually on a walkthrough call.
