What we do.
True Industries is an independent R&D lab. We build custom operational software and AI systems for clients, and ship games, audio, and interactive technology through our own divisions.
Client work centers on operational software. We map how your business actually works, identify where custom software creates leverage, and build operational systems one valuable layer at a time. Not a body shop. Not a generic agency. A lab that enters messy, high-value problems and ships working software.
The same lab ships products of its own. Audio Foundry delivers white-label music and sound design for games, and our games division builds original titles and interactive technology. More divisions will follow as the lab grows.

For more than 15 years, Stuart Westphal has helped lead the creation of products, games, and digital experiences recognized by international organizations including the Webby Awards and the Lovie Awards. These projects reached millions of users, hit #1 on the App Store, and earned recognition for innovation, creativity, and execution. Every project below shipped as team work during his years at the studio Hitcents, before True Industries.

Created in partnership with Tom Hanks, Hanx Writer recreated the experience of writing on classic typewriters for modern devices. It reached #1 on the App Store and earned Webby recognition shortly after launch.

05 / THE FOUNDER
The founder.
Before founding True Industries, Stuart Westphal spent more than a decade building games, software products, and digital experiences used by millions worldwide. At the studio Hitcents he helped lead products with industry partners including CAA, Google, Microsoft, Paramount Pictures, and Sony.
The launches above came from that run: Hanx Writer with Tom Hanks, the Draw a Stickman franchise, and The Godfather: Family Dynasty, alongside a body of viral releases totaling over 300 million downloads and 200 million YouTube views. That work predates True Industries. It is the experience the lab is built on.
After years of watching businesses force themselves into off-the-shelf software, he founded True Industries in 2017 around a different belief: software should adapt to the business, not the other way around.
Stuart holds a Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and has served on Eastern Kentucky University's Game Design & Development advisory board since 2017.
